Author: Lemony Snicket
Key Words: Children, Bedtime
Laszlo is afraid of the dark. The dark lives in the same house as Laszlo. Mostly, though, the dark stays in the basement and doesn't come into Lazslo's room. But one night, it does.
This is the story of how Laszlo stops being afraid of the dark. With emotional insight and poetic economy, two award-winning talents team up to conquer a universal childhood fear.
Rating: 3 of 5 stars
It's kind of odd but it works. I liked it! The dark is personified, and even though it ends up being helpful and a friend, if your child is still a little leery of the dark, the first part of the book might put them a little on edge - the last part should help them get over their fear though.
