Strong back matter empowers readers to learn about the history of timekeeping and time zones, and to explore where each of the characters lives on the world map. A distinctive educational tool, this picture book's warm, unique illustrations also make it a joy to read aloud and admire.
Rating: 4 of 5 stars
What a delightful way to introduce children to time zones and in a way that they'll be sure to get! With each page turn, you move forward one hour and see what a child in another country is doing at that same moment too. The ending is great and shows a complete circle.
Be sure to have a map with you to make this even more fun - kids will enjoy searching for each country spoken about and it will help solidify the progression of the time zones.
